1. Overview

These Terms and Conditions apply to all products and services provided by Mermaid Media, including but not limited to Content Current and any future packages, services, or digital products.

By purchasing, subscribing to, or using any Mermaid Media product or service, you agree to the terms outlined below.


2. Services Provided

Mermaid Media provides digital marketing support, including:

- Social media content and templates
- Subscription-based content services (including Content Current)
- Marketing guidance and resources
- Any additional services or packages offered

All services are provided for business support purposes only.


3. Eligibility

By using our services, you confirm that you are:

- At least 18 years old
- Using the service for business or professional purposes


4. Usage Rights

All content, templates, and materials provided by Mermaid Media are for your own business use only.

You may:
- Use the content on your own platforms
- Edit templates for your own brand

You may not:
- Share, resell, redistribute, or sublicense any content
- Provide access to non-paying users
- Use the content for client work or resale without written permission

Unauthorised use may result in termination of access without refund.


5. Subscription Services (Including Content Current)

Where services are provided on a subscription basis:

- Payments are taken monthly in advance
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
- Access continues until the end of the billing period after cancellation


6. Payments

- All payments must be made in full and on time
- Failure to make payment may result in suspension or termination of access
- Prices may be updated in the future, with reasonable notice provided


7. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription or service at any time.

- Access will continue until the end of the current billing period
- No partial refunds will be issued

Due to the nature of digital products and services, all sales are final and non-refundable once access has been granted.


8. Intellectual Property

All content, templates, materials, and branding remain the intellectual property of Mermaid Media.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the content for your own business purposes only.

Unauthorised reproduction, sharing, or resale is strictly prohibited.


9. Disclaimer

All services and content provided by Mermaid Media are for guidance and support only.

We do not guarantee:
- Social media growth
- Engagement levels
- Enquiries, bookings, or revenue

Results will vary depending on how the content is used and external factors beyond our control.


10. Limitation of Liability

Mermaid Media shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect loss, including but not limited to loss of income, business, or reputation, arising from the use of our services.

All use of content and services is at your own risk.


11. Availability of Service

We aim to provide consistent access to our services, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time.

12.Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time by providing written notice.

A minimum notice period of 7 days is required unless otherwise agreed.

In the event of termination, any work completed up to that point will be chargeable and no refunds will be issued for services already delivered.

Mermaid Media reserves the right to terminate the agreement with immediate effect if a working relationship is no longer deemed suitable, including but not limited to inappropriate behaviour, lack of communication, or failure to follow agreed processes.


13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.

Content Days & Events

By purchasing a place on a Mermaid Media content day or event, you agree to the following:

Your booking secures your place at the event on the agreed date. Due to the limited number of spaces available, all bookings are non-refundable.

If you are no longer able to attend, your place may be transferred to another person with prior written approval.

Mermaid Media reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the event format, schedule, or location if necessary. In the unlikely event that Mermaid Media needs to cancel or reschedule the event, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

You are responsible for your own travel, accommodation, and any additional expenses related to attending the event.

Content created during the day is your responsibility, and while guidance and support are provided, results will vary depending on individual effort and implementation.

Content Accountability Club

Membership

The Content Accountability Club is a monthly subscription membership that renews automatically each month until cancelled.

Your membership includes access to the current month’s resources, live sessions (where applicable), community support, marketing guidance, digital downloads, templates and other exclusive content made available as part of the membership.

Monthly Content

Membership resources are released throughout the year and are not provided all at once.

This includes the Travel Marketing Calendar, which is researched and updated monthly to reflect current industry trends, supplier activity, marketing opportunities and key travel dates.

The content released each month may vary and Mermaid Media reserves the right to update, improve, replace or amend membership resources at any time to ensure they remain relevant and valuable.

Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time before your next billing date.

If you cancel, your membership and access to all member resources will continue until the end of your current paid billing period. No partial refunds will be given for unused time or downloaded resources.

Intellectual Property

All membership content, including but not limited to marketing calendars, templates, guides, training materials, videos, worksheets and digital downloads, remains the intellectual property of Mermaid Media.

Membership content is licensed for use by one business only and must not be copied, shared, redistributed, resold, reproduced or used to create competing products without prior written permission.

Community Standards

Members are expected to contribute respectfully within the Accountability Club and any associated community spaces.

Mermaid Media reserves the right to remove any member whose behaviour is considered abusive, offensive, disruptive or harmful to the community. In these circumstances, no refund will be issued.

Live Sessions

Where live sessions are included as part of the membership, they may be recorded and made available to other members. By attending, you acknowledge and agree to this.

Travel Marketing Calendar Disclaimer

The monthly Travel Marketing Calendar is provided as a planning and marketing resource.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure information is accurate and up to date, travel industry events, supplier promotions, launches, webinars and key dates may change without notice. Members should always verify supplier information before relying on it for commercial purposes.

No Guarantee of Results

The Content Accountability Club provides education, accountability, marketing guidance and business support. Individual results will vary depending on each member’s business, consistency and implementation.

Mermaid Media does not guarantee enquiries, bookings, revenue or business growth as a result of membership.
